Affording to purchase them, and affording to own them are two dramatically different things.

Yes, and I don't mean to argue, I'm a learner. My thought is that the ones that are bought and not maintained correctly will not be cruising our highways for long. I have seen plenty of 944s, 928s & 924s on Craigslist in deplorable condition. A portion of all models are destined for that.



I work on cars recreationally. I can afford to lose (a little) money and time taking a neglected car and making it nice again. In the process I learn to improve my "Keeper".
