That's a great video. Why can I watch Porsche Porn all day and night? Something wrong with me.

The driver/owner showcased in this video is none other than Dallas resident Jack Griffin, a long time PCA Maverick member and a regular at local events.

It seems that EVERYONE in the Dallas sport car scene knows Jack; the Porsche guys, the Ferrari guys, the vintage guys, etc.

There's a Concours Detailing Clinic being held at his house this Sunday, in his giant garage, where he stores his three 911s, his 1970 914-6, and his 1955 356 Continental, along with a ton of motorsports memorabilia.

It might be sacrilegious to say on this forum - but driving my 914 when it had just 76 HP put a smile on my face that even the Boxster can't match. That VW motor is now gone and I'm doing a 914-6 conversion and I can only imagine how it will drive after I get done with it!

Sadly the only leg i have to stand on is virtual experience, but the stock 914 is the most fun vehicle i have ever virtually driven haha, better than any 200 mph machine. I personally HAVE to own one someday!

My first Porsche was a 1974 914 2.0, black on black. I upgraded it with Mini-Lite wheels and the front spoiler/side skirts from the "Bumblebee" Ltd Edition. Great car, but sold it for an Audi Coupe which was much more practical for Chicago winters. From there I went on to numerous 944s and then many more 911 variants. I did help my nephew years back to purchase a nice 914 1.8 while he was in high school.

Tough to find a clean one these days, as they all rust and sag in the middle.
