"NOTE: I've removed the function to open and close the top by turning the key in the door. The reason being that because you must keep the key in the lock/unlock position to keep the soft top moving for the 15 seconds it takes to open/close the top, it just didn't seem practical enough to keep. "

That's how they do it on the BMW Z4's...it wasn't too bad.
