Misread the thread title and put 918 in my head instead of Turbo and assumed the ring haha. Still very impressive, just glad the 918 is still on top. Not a camero fan but the fact the RWD camero is faster than the AWD cars is impressive.

Classic case of comparing apples to oranges.

Go out and buy this Z28 with virtual slicks, race suspension, and no A/C or sound deadening, and get back to me in a year. Or when your fillings all fall out.

But..................the Z28 does sound like a very capable machine, and this proves that American car manufacturers have had the ability to produce machines like this all along. Maybe this will shut Clarkson up.

Just sayin'..............

Are you all talking about the Z/28 vs. 911 GT3 comparison in the 17-31 March 2014 edition of Autoweek Magazine?

If so, buy the Z/28 for your track days and used the money saved (difference in price between the Z28 and GT3) to purchase a used 911 C4S as a daily driver.

Best of both worlds!

MT host reminds me of that goofy fellow from the

crappy American Top Gear...Rutledge. They may make light of it, but the tire difference is pretty significant. The camaros tires might need replacing by the time you drove it out of the dealership.
