So I test drove an '03 Boxster S today and was a little let down with it. Compared to the '02 911 Carrera I drove it seemed much slower. The 911 threw me back in the seat when I floored it, not the same for the Boxster S. It was definitely fun to drive in the corners...kind of like a big go-kart, but I didn't feel much torque in the car, namely the low end. I'm going to have to test drive another one and then go try another 911 and compare some more. And don't get me wrong, I'm not bashing the car at all. I was just hoping it would have the same "throw you back in your seat" thing that the 911 had, even though I know it's less powerful.
