I'm not near most of the rest of you, but when I bought my Box, I drove from St. Louis to Chicago with my wife, bought the car then drove back that day. In the worst rain storm I've driven through in my life, in rush hour traffic, and in a car that I wasn't used to and with a stick that I hadn't driven in 15 years. It was a great drive, and memorable, but I was tired when I got back! So all told about 550 round trip, but only 1/2 of that in the Boxter.

Jan 25 of this year. I few from Panama City Beach to Austin and picked up a beautiful Lapis blue 03S (hint:look at this forums cars for sale back in early January).
I met the seller at the airport and headed back toward Florida at about 3pm. I made it as far as West Mobile, AL (650 miles) before stopping for the night at 2:30am.
Of course I had to stop at the Beau Rivage in Biloxi for a few hours of Black Jack.
I actually won enough to pay for my room (for once)!

Last year I drove from Md. to Ormond Beach, Fl. 840 miles, stayed a few days and then went back. I put about 1900 miles on the car. I didn't have any problems. Car had 85k on the clock at the time. I wouldn't hesitate to do it again.
