Clickin noise from steering wheel while turning

Today I started getting a clicking noise from just behind the steering wheel when I turn it. It sounds like plastic clicking and clicks about a dozen times during each revolution of the steering wheel. Any ideas?

It works, but that is the sound it is making. Using the turn signal seems to change the number of clicks.

I suspect this is going bad:
Pelican Parts - Product Information: 996-613-217-10-EWC-M100

You probably have a few more driving days before it goes bad.

There are three and four stalk combination switch units. If you replace it make sure you order the correct part number.

Wow - I have the computer so the switch is 2X expensive. Has anyone repaired one of these?
