Doesn't your car see "rain" every time it gets washed?

Seems like a moot point unless you live downwind of a nickel smelting operation when the rain starts.

My tap water is more residuey than rain but you can dry the car and polish it up regardless.

Besides the car looks gorgeous with the rain all beaded up on it. Picture a glistening moist supermodel... nice right! You ought to see what your missing.

Well.... No. Rain water is fine. But mix it with the road grim and road oil and you get a filthy slimy mess. And it gets everywhere.

Can you imagine what that would do to my shinny muffler.
