If you really like it ( autocrossing) you can begin incorporating left- foot braking and save a tenth or two as well as help settle the front end when desired...

Doesn't the Trip work the same as the PDK?

I don't even mess with my PDK when I autocross. I just make sure to give it a good stomp when I start out, that kicks it into the sportier mode and keeps it there. I have never lacked for power with the PDK, I've never thought "Gee, wish it was down a couple of gears, I'd have gotten more umph." PDK takes care of the whole thing.

Yes they do, but the PDK is much faster than a Tip. I think the Tip was 1st available in 1997 & the PDK was 08 or 09? Kinda like Windows 95 & whatever the latest & greatest is now.
