Thanks San Rensho and Jager. I have an appointment on Friday with my local tech to put her on the lift and see what the deal is with it. Hopefully this is just a case of lubricating the ball joints as suggested cause I would like to be able to take a few months to gather funds for the row m030. Those control arms are a bit pricey. Although it looks like Vertex has a rebuilt arm for a lot less.

The bang I heard happened only that one time so maybe I ran over something. I just did not see anything nearby. So maybe whatever I ran over went flying much farther away from my car.
