yes. 2000S. I liked the resultant sound very much. No discernible performance impact.

Haven't done this mod yet. Don't want to start a brawl when someone flicks a cigarette out the window. Pisses me off right now as it is. Someone tell me it will be okay.

Evo Hi-Flo with cone filter...the whoosh the induction system makes is intoxicating. Tried the desnorkle and it wasn't loud enough for my taste.

I did, and I like the extra sound. Reminds me of when I was a kid and I'd flip the top of the air cleaner on my old Chevy upside down to get a similar effect.

And when we attached a playing card with a clothespin to the wheel on our bikes...that's really what started it all...

Mine was taped to my then ride, an Apollo 5.

To OP. I desnorkled and I like it. Even if I don't, I don't think I can put the snorkel back in...
