I was 17 & it was my 1st weekend home after graduating USMC bootcamp. I was in my 1st car, 1971 Firebird Formula455, floored it coming up the highway on ramp. Hit 100mph as I passed a white dodge sedan, glanced over & saw the state game warden logo on the door. Figured it was to late to change course so I continued up to 115. He followed me, I got about 6 miles down the road, took my exit & got stuck at the traffic light. He caught up there & had a blue light on his dash. He called a city cop who wrote me the cheapest citation I ever got. $38. Good thing I was in uniform!
