Cracked Rear Window Replacement Needed Southeastern Massachusetts

I did the rear plastic window replacement for $400. Not a good move on my part, the money would have been better spent going towards an aftermarket replacement top with glass.
Some have done a new top with glass for as little as $1000 installed. But the typical price is $1,300 to $1,500.

I have ordered one of these, will arrive later this week. The DIY should be straight forward, if no special tools or extra hands are involved, will update next week.

How did the install go with the new top? How would you compare the new replacement to the factory? I'm looking to do the same very soon, would love hear feedback.
