Hello, I'm a new (2000) boxster s owner but my memory of Porsche started when my dad took us to the first Laguna Seca race, yes the first. In those days, a local (calif) driver, Sammy Wiess, was unbeatable, he drove a Spyder and won every event. Until his unfortunate death, driving a new Lola, without a real rollbar, he and his Spyder were the main show.
When I saw the first Boxster, 1996 or so, my memories were relived.
Finally, I was able to afford my dreams, and hope to find real support with this forum.
Newest ride, 2003 986S with less than 80k. Love the cup holder......
