Is there any way to get rid of the shiny upper part of the headlight? I finally got a pair of clear headlights and I think I'm ready to go with the projectors. I want to color match the inside but that shiny part would clash too much on my black boxster.

Which part are you referring to? The eyebrow/surround thing? I know I saw one painted...I think it was in the main thread for Fred's projectors, on a red Box. No idea which of the nearly 50 pages though.

It was Leebherron that painted the eyebrows, post 187 in the other thread. Here's one of his pics:


Personally, I think the silver eyebrow around the black lights on a black car looks pretty good, here's a few more I found along the way:
