235 section tyres on the 8.5 inch rear 986 rim...

I'm thinking about sticking a 235 section rear tyre on my 2.5. Boxsters in general and the 2.5 particularly are stupidly over tyred and having driven the GT86 again recently, it's reminded how much nicer a sports car can be when the limits are more approachable.

I could swap to the 16 inch wheel, but it really does look ****************.

Also, someone in the UK recently stuck 225 winters on the rear 8.5 Boxster rim, so I'm hoping that a 235 section summer tyre would fit OK / not look silly and stretched. Any experience anyone?
