I like both. A little over a year ago I was seriously looking for a 2006 to 2008, 987-S either model. The only thing standing in the way the was trade in value of my then 2003 2.7 with just over 42,000 miles.

I would not. You already have the original, mark 1 boxster. In time it will prove to be the lasting design.

There are so many other models and brands to get into. I'm thinking about a Volvo P1800 or Ferrari 308 as my next useless addition.

I was just at the Porsche dealer today and being Sunday no sales people to bug me.They had a 2008 Boxster which quite interests me. In online ads is a 2007 Cayman private sale. The latter interests me but I need to sell my 2001 Box base privately to make a move on a Cayman privately. If the Cayman was at the dealership then I would get more serious but I would think that the trade in they would give me on a 2001 Box base would be low. Well spring is another 7 months away so in the meantime I will enjoy my 986. If you would not mind telling me how much were they going to give you on your trade? Put it in this forum or pm me if you would not mind telling me? Thanks!
