I had my gt3 bumper installed today

It looks great. Ill post pics this weekend as it was dark and rainy today. These guys do a great job painting but they take short cuts on the installation. I'm pissed because they charged me $75 to install the bumper but skipped 4 of the 13 screws. Two of which make a minor adjustment by the side lights. They skipped the hardest screws to install. Funny thing is I asked the shop owner if he wanted advice on how to install it. He said his guys do it all the time.

Looking forward to seeing the pics. Did you let the shop owner know his guys didn't install it correctly?

I left him a message with my check, I'm hoping to get my $75 back. I asked him to install it as I didn't feel like doing it, but as they say, can't get something done right unless you do it yourself.

It took me a year to find one. Funny thing is I posted a want add on rennlist and got one a week later. I just need to get the center grill. I bought one for a 996, but it doesn't fit. I'm going to try chopping it up and just installing the center, or install black mesh. The skirts I found recently on eBay.

Can you post a side shot. I like keeping the car oem, but may consider an eBay wing.

Nice look! Yeah, always have to keep an eye on the install, as NO one will do anything like yourself (i.e. clean the bolts, make sure screws are not forced in, etc, etc

Front bumper looks great! It also took me a while to find that bumper and the side skirts, but it was well worth the wait. I have left the middle open so far, but have considered adding the 3rd radiator. Let me know if you find a good source for the grille.
For the back, I added the GT3Tek lower rear bumper that mimics the Spyder look, and a Cayman-style rear spoiler from Ebay.

very nice.

I sometimes wonder why all Boxsters didn't come with 5 spoke Carrera light wheels and this bumper stock. Ditto on the 996 Carrera as well. But I guess as far as the bumper, they wanted to make the 996 GT3 special.

The missing center radiator is growing on me because you don't really see it on a dark car. I have hacked up a 996 grill that I think will fit, but haven't tried yet. I have to polish my car with the pc again because the body shop waxed my car leaving it in swirl city.

Forgot to say, what do you think of the plastic splitter below the bumper. I don't have it but am looking for it.
