Huh? How can that be when many OEM DRLs are just that? Most Toyotas (until recently) use the hi-beam at 1/2 power as DRLs or others (i.e some Chryslers) which use turn signals. Would seem to me it's a bigger issue (in the name of safety which they like to decry) when aftermkt are being used as DRLs b/c of non-focus, etc. i.e. HID add on kits you see many people installing in fog lights and blinding opposing drivers...
