I would add the front bumper segment. If it will fit at the same height. I can't tell from that photo.
Stylistically the door part ends at a "forward slash" slant. It might also look nice to have some sort of continuation of that theme on the the other end. I think it would tie up the two ends better. Maybe trim the length a little to fit that area before the front bumper side duct begins. That should give it a nice factory look.

Again, if you don't like the front piece you can just peel it off. I paid $80 from the UK graphics guys for all four pieces. If you do install that front piece be sure to have it pointing down a few degrees. Since unlike door the bumper is not flat and actually turns in, sticking it flat (with like a bubble level) will make it look like its pointing up when you look at it from far away.

Can you provide me with a link to the UK seller.

JD, I'm not sure I carry much kudos on this forum so feel free to ignore me.......I stand right behind 'ploughing your own furrow'. If it feels good, do it. This thread has proved both emotive and decisive.

When I look at the D'mobile I don't see a bad decision so far. Therefore trust your thoughts and do what you feel looks right . If you smile when you walk out of your house with the keys in your hand then it was the right mod for you.

If it feel wrong in a few weeks, peel it off. We are talking 3.6 transplant money and if a freshen is what's needed to stay 986, do it!

Keep that steering wheel on the right though... Embrace your in 'UK' ness!

And remember.... You are a peacock - so fly my brother!

Is the small segment between the door and the front fender the same size as a boxster ? I think it maybe be a smaller area on a Cayman ?

they have a video here:

Applying Decals to a Porsche Cayman - YouTube

took me about 30 minutes. I could probably do it in 10 minutes now.

I like the original image posted. Goes well when the top is up.

I've never seen the dangermobile with the top down.

Yes to the original !

Do it ! It is hard to believe your vehicle could be improved, but the side by side illustrates that it can be done. I get paid to create designs and your initial proposed small addition integrates so well at several levels. None of the other options thus far satisfy all at once the over all balance, appropriateness, contrast and sophistication of the original. As I advise my patrons, It is not a tattoo, you can change without scarring.

I was thinking of doing something simple like a small Hamann decal somewhere on the side skirt. Eh ?

What is does the "9ff" mean?

Being a bit geeky, at first look, it added up to 41...nothing!

Then I thought that maybe in German script the f is like an s, but that does not compute either...

Its not a generic stripe like "9xx", which would also be very dumb looking on a stripe....not likely.

Forgive my Porsche newbieness, I've only owned a Porsche for a year now and my German is a bit weak.

Enlighten me please!

I'm still partial to the first stripe you were looking into. Simple, straight, clean
