Most independent shops in the U.S. charge about $90-120 an hour. It's a 2-2.5 hour job. So you figure $250 in labor. Then you've got another $120-$150 in parts. Add another $20-30 in taxes. Voila.

Heck, I just had the coolant flushed & fill in my Ford Explorer, and it was almost $200. And it's fluid capacity if 1/2 the Boxster's.
