Alternate tire size options for 17" Sport Classic wheels?

I'm looking to replace all 4 tires and think the stock front tire size is too narrow. I'm thinking about running 225-50 up front and the current 255 width in the rear is fine with me but what other tire spec have you guys ran on the stock Boxster 17" wheels?

Note: I'm aware that if I do go with 225 front then the speedo will be off by 3% but will gain some comfort.

Sport Classic Wheel Spec:
Front: 17x7 ET55
Rear: 17x8.5 ET50
