Go sit at the parts counter of your dealer and have a look at the drawings on their system. You should be able to find it.

Is it bolt #20 in this pic? 999 591 941 40

Heiko, My apologize it's a '99 and I don't think part #20 is it, but I could be wrong. I need the screw that goes through item number 2 on the end toward the rear of the car. The screw has a locking washer on it, maybe Porsche calls it an expander nut.

DFW02S, I'm afraid that is my next stop.

It looks like the correct screw. I'll have to look at the car and see if the insert can be removed. I'll probably stop by the dealer and see if they can verify the screw.

That screw/insert is for the leather apron attached to the rear main tension bow. It's made of plastic. I don't have the part drawing handy at the moment but I will try to look it up for you later today.

Well I couldn't find the part number either, I thought I had it somewhere. Rather than Home Depot, try an ACE hardware store. I have one close to me that has a much better selection of metric fasteners than HD.
