mikefocke Registered User Join Date: Aug 2005 Location: Sanford NC Posts: 2,572	Missed a shift and got into the lower gear do you think? Happened to me in 1965 in a racing Alfa and I saw 1500 over redline easy. I was lucky there was no damage and I drove it for 20 more months until the engine blew.
