My post about my problems with the cluster was in regards to a newer style cluster where the gauges are modularized
The design of the old cluster is completely different and if I recall right the old cluster is one solid chunk

Garage
My clock/oil pressure LCD is getting much worse. The good news is I did some searching on eBay, and found a set of white clusters for about $250

The mileage even almost exactly matches mine. Quick question: Do I need to take it to a Porsche dealer in order to get the gauges mileage synced with the car's mileage?

Porsche dealers don't do that. Palo Alto Speedometer will do it for $150 plus shipping

Chris,

Palo Alto Speedometer must have had a price increase since you completed your project. They quoted me $175 plus shipping and said it would be in their shop for 3 days.

I think you are also correct about the lcd cluster design. The 3 lcds are in one solid piece of plastic and the gauges appear to be as well. You can see pictures in my third post. If there is a way to take it apart, I can't see it.
