Hi
HT in place, no fastening.
Some sideways alignment in front part can b e done with the "Flips" that enter the front window frame
Between window frame and HT front , 5,5 +/-1mm
Gap in the area between side and rear window 5,5 +/- 3,5mm
Remove cover above the Spinlock, there are 5 allen bolts for adjustment in hight an sideways.
All takes 30 - 60 minutes.

I put my top on last week. I'd say I have about 1/2" or more. I was wondering the same thing but it does seal well and stays in place in the triple digits.
