so what is the setup you got from Pedro?
did you get TB only, or the technotorque plenum as well?

I got the TB the plenum and the chip flash. Basically the whole thing.

Sounds great! I have a BMC air filter and fabspeed cat-back pipes too. Also have Pedro's engine mount in. They were all on the car prior to throttle body and made a little sound difference. Car sound when you put your foot down is deeper and louder, less jap bike. No drone at all though.

I had 270hp with those mods so I'm expecting something in the 290hp range when I go to the dyno Thurs/Fri. Butt dyno says 20-30hp. Fingers crossed. I also put the BBI under-drive pulley on at the same time as the TB.

Car has 55,000 miles.

So base 264hp (no Dyno verification)

Dyno with Cat-back exhaust, BMC, Pedro's engine mount and Technotorque2 270hp

TB etc and under-drive pulley ????

So my first Dyno didn't tell me much as I never thought of doing a base line run. Hp base, could have been lower or lack of chipping the car wasn't taking advantage of the initial mods.

Now however it should show what increase the TB & UD pulley with chipping makes.

On Pedro's advice I also removed the "air Pump" for Cal emissions and the "chip" Pedro did was for RoW spec car.

Pedro was great help through out the install process. With my different 987 air box I nearly threw in the towel and sent it back! lol

But after many hours and phone calls with Pedro we got there.

this is unbelievable.
its like you almost fell out of the sky for me.
i have a Cayman S TB and plenum seating in my garage for couple of weeks now.
did not installed it because i'm thinking about getting the technopower 2 kit (for a while now)
problem is, i need to complete my custom exhaust mod, and install some headers, before going with the ECU remap. (plan is going catless.)
just this morning, i was thinking about giving Pedro a call, and drop by to pick up a technotorque plenum, that will fit the TB i have.
plan is, to install the technotorque plenum and the TB now, and flush the ECU later on, after installing the headers and modified exhaust.
headers will go on in couple of months, after completing my "winter project".
clutch,IMS,RMS,AOS,UDP and coolant tank.
its still too hot in my garage, so ill have to wait for the temperature to drop a little.
ill wait on your dyno results, and probably pay Pedro a visit next week.
thanks, and keep us posted.

I will let you know how the Dyno goes. I'll post the results. The guy has all my dyno runs on his comp.
If you need any info on how the install went be glad to chat with you.

I just called the Dyno guy (only one in Atlanta!) and got his answering machine, hope he's not away!

I'm real happy with it, well worth the hours of sweat!

Is that AOS going to be the standard one or the racing one ?

I have one in the garage I've never got around to fitting. Be nice to see how much trouble that thing is to change out.
