That is exactly my point. If he had fixed it correctly, or at the very least brought it to my attention, it would have saved me over $900. Even if he caused the damage, I would have never known. I think he broke it when replacing the pump, and instead of manning up, he just used epoxy to cover his ass.

Work like that and the businesses that employ workers like that should be reported to your local Better Business Bureau.
