I drove a 400 mile round trip for dinner with my daughter and my grandson's opening game (T-ball). A nice twisty drive on the way up, then mostly highway back home at night. I was surprised how much attention the car got going through the small towns in rural Missouri. I'm still not sure of the rules for T-ball, but I think if you can keep most of the kids facing in the right direction, it's considered a win.

Nice job, grandpa! Win-win-win deal for you.

And you are right on about T-ball. I remember "coaching" my kids' team - gosh, i guess about 24 years ago. Feeling old now

This, right here, is the primary reason why I now own a 986. In fact, I believe a law exists that requires all grandparents to own a cool car for the wonder and enjoyment of their grandkids.
