I received store credit and an assurance that no one but the euro specialist will touch it from now on. The credit isn't much use since I don't want to take it there anymore, but I guess it will cover quite a few state inspections.

I even left the lug alignment tool, lug key and printed tire removal instructions with pictures on the passenger seat for the tech. I guess he didn't have the time to read my stupid instructions or care about damaging my car. He was a younger guy (looked early 20's) and I'm pretty sure that he is now unemployed.
