The vast majority of people who do their IMS find their old IMS was/is just fine. With such a small failure rate - the odds were overwhelming that your old bearing would be just fine, so not sure why you are so surprised.

At least now you have piece of mind and don't have to worry about it.

Surprised? Not really. Peace of mind? Definitely. IMS paranoia from this forum? Should be criminal!!
