As Charles states in the thread, not for the faint of heart. I used sandpaper, which took a lot longer, but I felt a little safer. By hand is not really an option - need some sort of power. Took me a solid day per headlight working slow and taking breaks with the kids. Had a very sad amber winky face for a couple weeks till I had another whole day to do the second side. |
My headlights did not need that done. Mine have the clear lens with an amber box inside of the light housing. Just needed the amber box removed.
