I just paid a guy to do mine yesterday.
Yours look great, and I love that color. |

Got my new clear engine cover on. Looks good.
Here is a video of it also. https://youtu.be/s6FFh0iCgG4 https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...21ca3cbde9.jpg https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...36e3967270.jpg Sent from my HD1907 using Tapatalk |

Removed rear bumper cover... and the bumper bar to which the two bumperette blocks are attached.
Tried to drill it out the 6 rivets yesterday morning. Drill bits I had were insufficient, so I tabled that task until I could visit Harbor Fright. Then, early in the evening when light remained in the sky... I watched some "more" Youtube vids... and saw a guy manage out his rivets absent a drill. I grabbed a hammer and metal punch. Had those rivets out in 2 whacks each. 2 minutes and 12 whacks. This morning will reinstall the bumper bar (absent the bump mnetal pieces). Looking for a couple used license plate light housings (or will buy new)/ Yes, I'm doing the bumperette delete. ;) |

Removed the hardtop and put it into storage for the next few months.
Them went in search of power steering leak. Found a hose that has slipped out of its bracket/grommet and chaffed thru leaving a pinhole leak and spraying PS fluid. Looks like it will be a pain to replace. |
I never get tired of this. Clean as a whistle. Liqui-Moly 5/40, Napa Gold 55721. Time for a drive to Ice House Canyon.

Yours, too. I still have a few second thoughts on the color combo mats I bought - blue and natural. They match the car’s paint and interior, but not so much the grey carpet (a rare color in a Savanna interior). But I still like them. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

Installed a new water pump and low temp stat on Friday. Spent the weekend driving and all appears well. Pump was the original and in very good condition but at 17 years old I think it was wise to swap it out.
Also finished my rear speaker cubby, just need to hook it up to the head unit now as I ran the cables over the weekend https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...532c960393.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...1745cc6632.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...fd8b273840.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...743ebec18f.jpg |

A shout of THANKS to mikesz for the part!
Just finished the delete install (now that's an oxymoron). When it begins bugging me enough I'll find a way to better secure the corners of the delete to the bumper. The double sided tape didn't work. Attachment 22388 Attachment 22389 |
I "de-methed" my door cards. The PO was a slob.
