Cleaning the T/B is the 1st thing you should do, Porsche eliminated throttle cables in 2000. The Bentley publishers manual is a good start. With your experience just remove the top engine cover & you will see the T/B right there, remove intake tube & clean with Brake cleaner. You can hold the throttle open with your fingers & scrub inside with a clean rag. This does wonders for your idle speed.
