Failed bushings on the airbag frame

My horn is sounding with just a slight touch on the steering wheel and even when I don't touch it and the car is parked. A past thread said to search for "failed bushings on the airbag frame" in order to resolve this issue but I can't find any results.

Does anyone know how to fix a hyper sensitive horn?

thanks,

Colby

there are 4 bushings, one in each corner.
the horn works by shorting out the inner section with the frame which is isolated
by 4 rubber bushings. they wear out.

I rigged some springs to get the bushing effect. PITA, took several tries, but it worked.

I'm not sure if you can source replacements or have it refurbished.

Best option is to replace the air bag frame. Cost $86.75
