Projects like this are usually an excuse for me to buy another tool. Although I usually believe in buying quality I tried the Harbor Freight bearing puller. (did not work and I took it back). I took the hubs to a local Car Quest that had a machine shop. Quick, easy and I thought well worth it. They pressed the old bearings out and the new ones in. Saved a lot of time and effort.
