Burg Boxster Registered User Join Date: Nov 2006 Location: In the garage... Posts: 1,732	They probably blue the tips from factory b/c they will turn that color shortly. Thus avoiding "customer service issues" or bad product reviews down the road. Not saying it's a bad product at all as I truly have no idea... just discussing perception and/or reasoning for the burn in out of the box. Good luck
