Looks to me like you need new control arm bushings! Yay!!! Never done one on a boxster, but on my old car you have to press them out, or rip and tear, and press the new one in.

(Or just buy a control arm with it pre-mounted lol)

EDIT: Also, Try prying on the wheel back and forth for play. If it is as bad as it looks, you should get a decent amount of movement around the bushing itself. And generally, when it comes to suspension, play=bad/worn. lol
