None of you guys are being too helpful.

I've never heard of the diagnostic system mention by OP, but perhaps try googling or searching for "durametric". It is not too terribly expensive, or perhaps you can try buying a PIWIS scanner ($2000).

If you need to reset fault codes, you can go into just about any auto shop and ask to borrow one of their OBD scanners.
