This is the very first time that I looked at my oil filter after an oil change, so I don't know if my findings are normal or reason to be concerned. I found a bunch of tiny non-magnetic (so I guess they are aluminum) shavings in my oil filter (see attached pic) Oil was changed after 5,000 miles (as I always do), the engine has about 40k miles Comments, ideas? __________________ I still wave at Boxsters, but they no longer wave back :-( 2002 Boxster S "Violet" (sold but not forgotten) 2009 Carrera 4S "Kelsey" (current ride) 2015 FIAT 500e "Nikki" my commuter car
