53. USAFR JAGC retired; currently Army civilian attorney. Although I fit the usual stereotype, by my count, I am only the second attorney to report in, which is surprising. The 08 Cayman is actually my second Porsche, but that was because I only owned my 99 Box for a few months before trading it after discovering my head would hit the rollbar in a rear-end collision. That, and my wife's discovery that a convertible might actually mess up her hair. LOL

Attorney, 53. This is my third Porsche, but I do have to say that my favorite car ever was my Alfa Romeo GTV6. Rare, great styling, fast for its time and blast in the twisties. The bad synchros taught me well how to heel and toe double clutch.

TerryT 02-01-2012 09:04 AM

41 Software engineer, first Porsche (still not sure how I got my wife to agree to it).

Interesting story : In South Africa in the late '90s I bought a used green C280 Mercedes from the father of a very well known internet entrepreneur who currently has links to electric vehicles, rockets and spacecrafts. The car was an undisclosed salvage (no carfax in SA) and should really have been scrapped. The car gave me problems with no end and many sleepless nights... but life is learning and now I smile everytime I see or hear of his son and can't help thinking about that green Mercedes.
