I wouldn't recommend waxing the car every time you wash. The more you touch the paint the more you will swirl and scratch it. If you want a boost after the wash I recommed using a spray wax with a dedicated buffing towel. This means don't buff your car with a microfiber towel. There is a glut of that product on the market right now and all the stores and websites want you to buy it all up.
Autopia sells an excellent Concours buffing towel.
microfiber is for cleaning not buffing, really overkill for a well maintained Porsche.
