Mine leaked from the back of the tank where you can't see it.
What year is your Boxster? My 2000 has 5 hoses going through the back of the trunk. The biggest one is the oil filler and the smallest is the dipstick. The two that are clamped to the side of the coolant tank are in-out coolant system hoses. The other one that is attached to the side of the coolant tank, but not clamped, is the overflow.
There are some wires that go into the bottom of the tank that are connected to the coolant level sender. There is also a bundler of wires that go into the trunk wall that is the wiring harness for the main computer and trunk relays. That's all that's in there on mine.
