I really have a bone to pick with Porsche on the whole European delivery thing. Why should I pay more to go get my car from the factory? BMW and Benz actually give you a discount for Euro delivery. Volvo actually picks up your plane tickets and give you a night in the hotel. I know we have exclusive cars, we pay MSRP, yada yada yada...In my oh so personal and humble opinion, I think Porsche should encourage us to take delivery in Germany. They would probably make more money with all of us Porsche-files spending a crap load of cash in the gift store and supporting the German economy by drinking all the booze we can get our hands on. Feel free to send the lines about "well if you don't like it you can go buy a Bimmer", just remember the whole customer service thing. You provide me a excellent experience, I am going to be your customer for life.
