low oil pressure on the track

ChrisZang Registered User Join Date: Mar 2006 Location: San Carlos, CA 94070 Posts: 1,450	low oil pressure on the track I had a great track day @ Infineon yesterday :-) Well, actually I had to cut it a little short In session 4 I noticed that even at full RPM the oil pressure gauge was somewhere between 2 and 3 (usually its at 4.5when the RPM are higher than 2k) Outside temp was 95 degrees and the water temp was at about 220 So I called it a day, let the engine cool down and drove home where everything was back to normal Could it be that I am using the wrong oil?
