healthservices Registered Boxster abuser Join Date: Oct 2011 Location: socal Posts: 1,014	The Blend door is built a little strange, it may for sound deadening? but from what I saw the door is a holey plate with a foam piece covering it. When the foam deteriorates the door can not regulate the hot/cold air anymore as it is bypassing threw the openings. Removal of the heater box is required to repair this.
