My heater working?

Used the heat for the first couple of times but doesnt blow very hot, more warm. Is this normal, or am I not turning it on properly? 99 boxster' I turned heat up to 'hi' and b lower to high as well. A/c symbol is off. Thoughts? Thx

I've read that the blend door on some models fall apart causing lack of heat. Not sure if this applies to you. Do you have any loose foam bits in the a ducts?

The Blend door is built a little strange, it may for sound deadening? but from what I saw the door is a holey plate with a foam piece covering it. When the foam deteriorates the door can not regulate the hot/cold air anymore as it is bypassing threw the openings.

Removal of the heater box is required to repair this.
