Actually I meant I was "this close" to getting the upgrade done. I didn't want to
risk it happening while I was driving to the Porsche shop. I didn't ask the condition
of the bearing. I didn't want to know. I had thought about that. By asking about it
I guess I could have provided information to others about its condition, helping them
make their own upgrade decisions I guess. I just looked at it from the perspective that I was getting it done so it didn't matter at that point. BTW 68K miles on the
car. Didn't wanna risk it any more.
