go here to get a PET: http://www.porsche.com/usa/accessoriesandservices/porscheservice/originalparts/originalpartscatalogue/

it has all the parts, part numbers, etc. use sunset imports or suncoast for all OEM parts. i recommend you just buy used doors from a junk shop instead of fixing the old ones. if you type part numbers into google, you will sometimes get aftermarket body parts (fenders, quarters, etc) for cheap.

i don't think it's as bad as it looks. BTW, if you go aftermarket, get polyurethane parts. fiberglass sucks.

ok, so maybe that's the way to go. I can use any parts from 1997-2002 right?

actually 99-04 uses the same stuff.
find one that has a blown motor. You may find that you can just remove your motor and put it into a new body. Much cheaper and faster.

if you go that route, check concerns with dme and E gas and such, but i think that it can all be worked out easier than you think.

i have seen rollers go from 4K to 9K. mostly on ebay.

I heard that wasn't possible from the Porsche dealer. They said the electrical would all have to be rewired. But I am curious if the body panels will all transplant.
I know they updated the Boxster in 2000 and again in 03- but I don't know if that was all under the hood.

email me and I will send you a digital parts catalog that can answer all of your questions.
body panels should be fine to 2004.
What the deal with the drivers wheel? It is turned right, but the passenger side is strait. Looks expensive.
