The golf club dilemma is an interesting one, especially since one of the original design parameters for the Boxster was supposed to have been the ability to accomodate a set of clubs. (see "Porsche Boxster" by John Lamm, p.63).
While separating the load into the clubs in one compartment, and the bag in another, I suppose could be spun into qualifying as the ability to carry a set of clubs, I submit that the Boxster design team fell short on that one.
Perhaps the solution is to use the Beemer SUV for golf outings. Sadly, this prevents the grand entrance in the Porsche into the club parking lot on Saturday morning, but what are you going to do?
